Macquarie Uni Professor warns of the hearing loss risks associated with rock concerts

This week, Macquarie University’s Professor of Hearing, Language and the Brain, and the Director of Hearing Research, David McAlpine (right) spoke to Alan Jones on 2GB and gave a warning about the very real hearing loss risks associated with exposure to loud music.

In his interview, Professor McAlpine highlighted the fact that most people who listen to loud music at concerts do not realise they are putting their hearing at risk by listening to music at levels that are illegal in Australian workplaces.
